Christmas HAF 2025!

This year, we are having our HAF Holiday Club on the 20th & 21st December!

December 20th is for the Kid’s! We are meeting from 9:30am-1:30pm. Join us for lot’s of fun, Christmas crafts, music, learning, food and more! Breakfast and Lunch are FREE! December 21st is our Family Service, so children must be supervised by parents/carers. Join us for food, music, fun and the Alpacas are giving us a visit after the service! We are meeting at 10:30am! Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme funded by the Department for Education provides free meals and activities for eligible free school meal children during the school holidays. The aim is to keep kids healthy and active.

If your child is aged 4 to 16 and gets benefits-related free school meals, you may be able to access free activities.

School holidays can be particular pressure points for some families because of increased costs (such as food and childcare) and reduced incomes. For some children that can lead to a holiday experience gap, with children from disadvantaged families:

Free holiday clubs are a response to this issue and evidence suggests that they can have a positive impact on children and young people and that they work best when they provide consistent and easily accessible enrichment activities, cover more than just breakfast or lunch and involve children (and parents) in food preparation.
